Do You Floss?

Do you floss?

  • I loves me some flossing! I use ten yards of the stuff a day!
  • Three times a day/after a meal
  • Twice a day
  • Once a day
  • Every other day or so when I’m feeling guilty
  • When I get something stuck in my teeth

I know how hard it is to quit smoking because I have started flossing.

comedians.jokes.com/mitch-hedber … --flossing

I started flossing about 6 times a week on average (I’m calling that once a day) back in July of 2008. I had six weeks to do it; I was at training for work and so had a brand new routine. I think by week four I had it down. I don’t know that it’s done a lot to ease my time with the hygienist, but it seems to have eased my morning breath. I brush before bed, floss, and rinse with mouthwash.

So far I haven’t found any of my friends who admit to flossing. You guys?

Maybe I should add a new option: I’m too ashamed to answer this question.

 You did not make it controversial. Seems to me if you eat you need to floss unless you are on a liquid diet. Food is irritating between the teeth its either remove the offensive stuff or rot your teeth and breath. I can’t believe most people would be too lazy to not floss. Maybe they are I don’t know.

You need to stick some controversy into your questions or these frothing dogs here won’t bite

Like what flavor of floss is best and what type of floss, or toothpick vs floss. Or what is the wierdest thing you ever used to clean your teeth?

Miswak.

And, stone me, it works.

Yeah, but I threw some Mitch in there, Kris…I thought that would entice people.

Also, answer the damn survey!

I floss pretty infrequently. When I buy those easy-floss things I do it about once a week but when money is tight those are some of the first nick-nacks to disappear.

Which is bad since if I am going to floss I ought do so regularly. In the population, there are people who get gum disease and people who get cavities (it depends on a particular protein in your saliva) and I am one of the people more prone to gum disease. So when I floss infrequently and then do floss, the damage to the gums causes a nasty flare-up and a bad downward spiral until I’ve got them good and used to it!

What is this? A dental clinic? Jeez.

I’m in the same boat, Xunz.

And yes, it’s Anthem’s Dental Clinic. More of a support group, really. Stand up, state your name, and tell me how long it’s been since your last floss.

Hi, Coatless!

 I would vote but the form won’t let me, for the record; 3 times aday after each meal.

See it worked. Throw in the words wierd and controversy and look what happens

What the hell is floss?

Yeah I floss, and I’m proud damn-it! Like Xun, I use those snazzy ease-of-use floss sticks and can never go back to using dental floss (it just seems so prehistoric in comparison :unamused: )

I tend to floss when I’ve got a social event to attend, so once a week perhaps, but my electric toothbrush means that my dental health is never compromised. oh, and I use a tongue scraper/brush…

Yeah, I rock the tongue-scraper every day.

Most essential. Especially for a drunk – we have notoriously dry mouths. And sans tongue scraper dry mouths equals bad breath!

I just visited the dentist yesterday, this seems appropriate, LoL

She cleaned my teeth, told me they were lovely, and to floss and brush twice a day, every day.

I brush three times a day, morning, after lunch, before bed, and never, EVER floss. My teeth are very tight together, it’s hard to get the floss between them.

Still have never had a cavity or anything more serious than some few-and-far-between tooth sensitivity. Go me and my awesome teeth

I am using a dental floss, it could clean my teeth in a nice way. Dental expert said that it could clean and prevent the teeth from tooth decay.

Flossing as da way to go, no?

One post? don’t bother spam these boards, ok!!!
