Do you practice your philosophy?

If this forum went unmoderated, would your mode of participation change any as far as language or other methods of commutation that you do not use now?

Do you practice your philosophy the same in all settings? Or do you have to rail in your personality to fit into moderated society?

If you would change, which personality would bring you the most satisfaction - moderated or unmoderated or would moderation not matter?

I try (to do so).

Yes.

Unfortunately my philosophy doesn’t exclude behaving like a drunk lunatic and abandoning the rules of logic.

I’m different everyday, so I would say practice the same philosophy differently everyday. contradiction, yes.

Sometimes, we have to go outside of logic with our thinking. Great inventions have come from some of these illogical dreams.

Consistency is contrary to nature, contrary to life. The only completely consistent people are dead. ~ Huxley

As a lecture on Aristotle mentioned: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” We develop it by practice. Practicing ‘excellence of the human soul’ is how.

A simple tool to smooth out the everyday fluctuations in our life is: forget perfection and look for direction. We can either be going up, down or sideways with our goals.

Agreed.
