Does anyone out there have a mandolin?

well?

if you have an old one that you wouldent mind getting ride of…for the price of free…give me a pm.

i am in desperate need for one but they are very expensive.

having few close friends i have made it my point of preference to learn as many instruments as possible (which now is at 12) and my heart has its sights set on a man-dolin.

this probubly dosent belong here but…
i’d pay for shipping and handling of course

i could really make it worth you’re while with free microsoft paint commision pictures

Hi yromemtnatsisrep. Congrats.

Could you let me know what the quality and sound are like when you get it? I’m considering buying this one:

I used to have a mandolin with mother-of-pearl inlay like the one in your link. It originally belonged to my grandparents who were musicians in the 1920/30’s but, unfortunatley all of the instruments were stolen :imp:

I love mandolins (and lutes) you can get some wonderful rhythm sounds from them but they’re murder on your hands/fingers if you have large hands.

So if its a good buy, I’d appreciate you passing the info on. (a PM will do)

Men who play mandolins. Are you all trying to get me off or what?

It’s a funny Bess, I’ve met writers (one a nobel prize winner) who said they would have prefered to be artists (working in colour not black and white). I’ve also met quite a few artists who wanted to be musicians but I have never met a musician who wanted to be anything else.

You are right. It is more than meaningful.
