wikipedia is a much better source than 90% of the shit on the internet. with that said i still wouldnt use it to research an issue that i feel is important to society. i would still read it check out the bibliography on important issues but i would do more research. but that narrows the amount of shit on wikipedia down to like 3 topics. i dont care how inaccurate their history of anything is. if im wrong big deal its history. same goes with most of the rest of the site.
Much of Wiki is factual, but be careful. This source is considered invalid and never use it when writing for academia.
However, on an informal site, such as this, it is considered a quick source of information.
