How do I post youtube videos?

copy the URL of the youtube video, press the “youtube” button above, and paste it inside the middle block brackets. Then press “Preview” to ensure it is a compatible URL (some are restricted only to Youtube). If it is restricted, you can still simply just directly paste the url onto the post box (though the picture won’t show with it).

And I suspect you’ll be flooding us with Julie Andrews and other flowery things, won’t you! Try to be diverse…

Actually I’m more of the heavy metal death metal type.

That’s just inconvenient that it won’t show up in picture form where you can just push play on the video within the thread.

After you highlight the link, click on the youtube icon, not the URL. You’ll see this [youtube] at the beginning of the link, and this [/youtube] at the end of the link. You can even manually type them in on either side.

It should look something like:
[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tX0a0zWZEE[/youtube]
