in our dreams we dream of bad things happening to us and yet we question why god allows bad in the world… our own conscious behavior shows that we have some need for bad things to happen to be functioning conscious beings in that we dream about bad things does it not? Why do we dream bad things?
I’m sure science has some kind an answer. Try googling it.
More interesting, though, is the point you raise about nightmares. My dad used to tell me, wholly joking of course, that when it thundered it was “the angels bowling.” In a similar vein, we might say of a hurricane or whatever terror, “God’s having a nightmare.”
We ate the apple of wisdom and gained …wisdom! We have the ability to solve very complex problems, invent very complex things, etc, yet we are still whiney navelgazing sobs that wants everybody else to whipe our asses because we’r too lazy to do it ourselves.
Maybe you should ask youself why you disregard the story of Noah?

God does not “allow” anything. God simply does not have the power to influence or control such. Simply because God “as defined by man” only exists in the conscious mind of those who believe in him, the real God which takes on the role of this conscious concept, is a metaphysical parasitical hive-mind, which feeds on the energy and life force of those who worship the “Effigy” of “God”.
But this “God” is not really a God at all, Just a metaphysical entity which is comparable to a Leach in the physical, only instead of sucking blood, this entity sucks out your lifeforce / energy, while giving you nothing in return except fantastical delusions which can be proven both metaphysically and physically as false. It’s why it’s called “Faith”. Because if you took out the Faith, you’d have “Nothing”.
I call that the collective subconcious. I tend to belive that we are all psychic on some level especially subconciously and out of this internet of the subconcious forms a sort of knower in and of itself. That is indeed a pretty mean messed up sob, largely due to all the negative we humans place in this world.
As I have stated before, Real truth is found in the self and internally, rather then through external forces and entities, though both are available paths to truth, what you learn from an outside source is based on that entities or beings perception of reality and interpretation of such. Which, may be far different then your own and thus while the information given is true, may perhaps be skewed and corrupted when you attempt to define it based on “Your” perception of reality, thus making what was a truth into an Un-Truth or Illusion of such.
Thus the most accurate way to search for the truth is simply to… Do your own damn work and research

As within so without. As above so below. That which is outside you is effectively in you, that which is in you is effectively outside of you. So yes you can learn both from looking in or looking out. but depending on the situation one may be the faster route to truth then the other. some times one is an infinitely long path to the truth. The truth of spirituality is best seen within, IMO.
