drying

Anymore intellectualising
and you’ll be dry and
dead in a week
as dry as a stick in a basket
as dry as a cloud of hydrogen
as dry as the pages of the bible
as dry as a Bunsen burner
as dry as a maths ruler
as dry as a leaf in autumn
as dry as a bibliography
as dry as the surface of the sun
as dry as all the fires of hell
as dry as a book on the history of Stalingrad
as dry as oats cakes
as dry as a frigid marriage
as dry as old age

BEWARE!
big fleshy man eating cock
plagues City!
-he never grew up
but in the same sense
he never grew down-

the telescope of the mind
ever fails to comprehend
the glass of reality…

As dry as a frigid marriage - you have a certain thing for failed marriages in your writings…

I do have a thing for failed Marriages…I have not really experienced marriage break up…My Uncle had an affair…but he was pretty distant too me…I know a few families that have divorced…

I think marriage as a reality has always fascinated me…in terms of commitment, failure…as a kind of Idealism…which fails in one way or another…if not finally in divorce…
