Ecmandu: the POE & 3 Transcendentals

I am currently replying to the last time this thread was super on topic.

Even the staunchest theists have conceded that PoE is a major hurdle and so are the ad-hoc explanations, like free will, given for it.

How is it ad hoc when you couldn’t even recognize evil (consent violation) without free will (consent recognition) to choose/reject it? Good is ontologically primary. There are greater & lesser goods depending on which one best applies self=other in the context. The lesser goods are not privations. You don’t even need privation in order for there to be good. Good is the baseline. Evil is not necessary. Therefore, evil (consent violation) is a problem for those who reject a primary good (consent recognition). They have no explanation, and/or they reject the actuality of the explanation.

I recognize your consent and you recognize my consent because we are having a conversation. That sort of consent recognition in conversation has to be an eternal truth in order for there to be a primary good, of which evil is a violation/privation. I do not always exist in every possible moment… you?

You bring up an important issue. It is key to compossibility of evil and a benevolent God.

The beautiful eye of the beholder covers over a multitude of ugliness.

@Ecmandu have you been trying to say that forgiveness (offered, but not forced) is possibly unjust (un”fair”, unexacting), but it’s definitely beautiful (infinitely more valuable than mere fairness)?

…don’t let me down.

The transcendentalia appear to align with salvation. What is the need for a Salvator Mundi? PoE?

When we know we are loved despite our crap, good or bad, it frees (saves) us to love others likewise. Even if the shit hits the fan. Count it all joy.

If you don’t already know that, at some point in your life, you’ll feel that need. Probably over and over again. We are slow learners and (¿because?) fast forgetters.

I wanna be a good remind…er. I would also appreciate one.

Is that an answer to my question of why we need a Salvator Mundi? I get where you’re coming from. A lot of questions remain unanswered though, right?

Yes, it’s why we need it if we don’t know (we have) it. (Or why we need a reminder.)

What questions? You wouldn’t have the questions (hunger) if there wasn’t an answer (satisfaction).

Why?

Why the secret of my success,

Many sources avail, but it would be like giving away the plots of so many narratives, it would make it to easy, to live and think by and not live through such narratives.

You’re so right. Shirley is a lucky lady… and probably a great bitch. Would that we all had your longevity and fortuitous world travelings (because you’re both spies).

Long Life & Prosperity in what matters, Ec.

Oh dear. The summoning of the Ecmandu. You realize even traveling at the speed of light it’s gonna take him days to get here, I hope. Just be patient and wait your turn. You’re not the only planet with intelligent sex dimorphic consent violating species, you know.

What would we ever do without you?

To self: Stop talking, you moron.
