I’ve stated before my support of Corporatism (not to be confused with it’s opposite Corpritocracy).

"On economic issues, Italian Fascist leader Benito Mussolini claimed in 1933 that fascism’s “path would lead inexorably into state capitalism, which is nothing more nor less than state socialism turned on its head. In either event, [whether the outcome be state capitalism or state socialism] the result is the bureaucratization of the economic activities of the nation.”[33] Mussolini claimed that capitalism had degenerated in three stages, starting with dynamic or heroic capitalism (1830–1870) followed by static capitalism (1870–1914) and then reaching its final form of decadent capitalism, also known as supercapitalism beginning in 1914.[34]
Mussolini denounced supercapitalism for causing the “standardization of humankind” and for causing excessive consumption.[35] Mussolini claimed that at this stage of supercapitalism “[it] is then that a capitalist enterprise, when difficulties arise, throws itself like a dead weight into the state’s arms. It is then that state intervention begins and becomes more necessary. It is then that those who once ignored the state now seek it out anxiously.”[36] Due to the inability of businesses to operate properly when facing economic difficulties, Mussolini claimed that this proved that state intervention into the economy was necessary to stabilize the economy.[36]
Mussolini claimed that dynamic or heroic capitalism and the bourgeoisie could be prevented from degenerating into static capitalism and then supercapitalism if the concept of economic individualism were abandoned and if state supervision of the economy was introduced.[37] Private enterprise would control production but it would be supervised by the state.[38] Italian Fascism presented the economic system of corporatism as the solution that would preserve private enterprise and property while allowing the state to intervene in the economy when private enterprise failed.[38]"
The funny thing is that many of the people calling the government “Fascist” without understanding the word pretty much all seem open to this idea concept when they ask for a “mixed economy” (except the libertarians and free market anarchist of course).
The funny thing is that you keep feeling the need to put down other people’s political opinions as simplistic, when your own take on them is no better.
Why do I say this?
Even the Libertarians believe in what they call big government - under Ron Paul’s budgets, the overall size of the state would increase (revenue/expenditure both increasing).
A mixed economy isn’t necessarily Fascistic. To equate the two because of one fundamental similarity is ridiculous.
But then, a lot of your equations are ridiculous. I dunno why you feel the need to start a new thread for each one.
And yet you don’t allow it to feed into your opinions on this thread - very strange…
No shit, Ron Paul supporters are brainwashed dumbbells. My point is, saying something different to a Ron Paul supporter that is equally stupid and simplistic doesn’t make you any better than them.
Whether it is intended or not, it’s in your post. You’ll find this with communication - you’ll be saying all sorts of things you don’t intend because you’re using language in such a careless, vague way.
I really don’t know what my economic views are in a solid way, over the past year i’ve been trying to learn more about economics, so far corporatism has appealed to me the most.
How do you mean?
Could you Elaborate?
He’s an interesting character, i’m not an ardent supporter of him but i don’t despise him like a lot of other people do either, there are many things he did which I think were very admirable other things not so much.
