End

If the entire country caught anthrax poisoning and you couldn’t leave the country, the surrounding towns were in chaos and it was essentially every man for himself would you…

  • Wash down a handful of sleeping pills with some vodka and leave the world in peace.
  • Huddle in your home and cuddle with loved ones until you’re about to choke on your own blood and THEN off yourself
  • Roam the streets in search of mayhem and adventure, raping, looting and killing for fun
  • Try to find an antidote no matter what, using every resource to scour the town, city and beyond, doing whatever it takes to FIND THE VIAL that will save your life
  • Accept that finding an antidote is a selfish and ultimately self-defeating endeavor, and use what time you have left to comfort those around you in any way you can

This is the day of the dream. It is one day long and when you wake up it is gone forever. How does this dream end?

the dream ends only when the dreamer ends.

-Imp

The dream ends when we awaken.

A

no, when we awaken we delude ourselves in another dream

-Imp

Imp,

Are you sure? You may be a dreaming butterfly, but do the rest of us have to be also? You’re peeing on my shoes…

sure I’m sure, at least I was sure that I was sure until certainity left the building with elvis…

surely you jest…

and sir lancelot replied, no you twit, I joust.

…and stop calling me shirley

“You cannot change your fate but you can rise up to meet it.”

Thankfully, tomorrow is Friday…

Antidote. Every time. I’d be tempted by the raping and the pillaging and the looting but to be honest, that’s a moron’s way out, a mob mentality, for the weak and bored.

Besides, if you find the antidote then you can hold the rest of the world to ransom as demand as many possession and concubines as you can accomodate. Of course, once you surrender the antidote your power is essentially nil (unless you also hold future stocks of anthrax, which is always advisable whether you’re a tinpot dictator or the proper kind) so one should allow plenty of people to perish while training up an army of loyal soldiers to deal with the remaining herds.

You really shouldn’t ask me questions like this, it provides me with the opportunity to show just what a callous bastard I really am. Ah well, at least I’ll survive the anthrax…

There are a couple of bits here.
First are you single or married,
if married, do you have kids?

All of these makes a difference on what action
one takes… If I am alone with no family, vodka and pills
sound swell, If I am married, I must try to find a cure but
mostly comfort her and with children, cure all the way.
so its depends on the situation.

You did not put down about natural immunity.
there is a portion of humans that have survived anthrax without an antidote. so you find someone who survived and create a serum from their blood, Or turn cannibal and eat them, what the hell civilization is out the window anyway.

You could could always prepare for the illness by using and securing plants that alleve the symptoms and make sure that there is enough to go around for everyone around you so that if you fall ill there will be someone to apply the medicines.

Where the hell is Spock when you need him? C’mon Gamer, there has to be a way out of this, a fantasy happy ending with milk and cookies for all, and get those soaps broadcasting again… Do you realize I’ve missed four whole days? Some dreams are just too horrible to contemplate…

Like any other.

That’s the thing with dreams, right when you wonder about something or you’re about to ask a question, other people or things just sort of seem to happen, as if on cue.

The real question is: which fate is more real, that of waking or of dreaming?

I choose the antidote option

Fate intercedes against us, without our permission or will.

Death comes for us all, and in what manner, we have no redress of grievance.

Best to make of life all that you can, as in the moment’s end, it matters little of choice. You are taken, regardless.
