Midgets have little necks, head close to the shoulder, hard to cut off. Impossible? No, but prior to the guillotine, very difficult.
Likewise, their body is thick and robust, much more than a child’s, a abnormal amount of thick tendons and muscles, and fully grown adult like spines.
This would throw off any hangman trying to calculate a load drop for a midget, because it isn’t like the everyday task of hanging a ferral child… they weigh much more, but are similar height, but no similar structure… much more hardy and robust.
Same goes for firing squad. If standing, a midget stands lower, and so the firing squad has to aim low. They don’t know if he has a tiny heart, or normal sized heart. Will it hit him, miss, will they shit him in the chin or neck by accident instead if the chest? If seated, in a execution chair, he has to be given a high chair. The straps are all oversized, making a mockery of him. This all amounts to cruel and unusual punishment.
If it us cruel to execute a midget in the 19th century or prior, then such precedent shows us it remains so today. So, this means midgets can’t be executed.
However, we ate all equal before the law. If a midget can be executed, then nobody can be executed.
This means the death penalty is immoral and unethical, and should be banned.
Once in place, it gives us the freedom, without fears of lethal reprisals, to kill midgets in cold blood.
