Ever come a time when gods will be born?

Think of a time in another place, perhaps in another galaxy, but perhaps if we survive as a humanity, when life extension will become a matter of course.

What if, the state of the art of the exchange of body parts, although procedures of extra ordinary cost, would slowly favor those with large pocketbooks, later with inordinately huge ones.

This is predicated on the notion, that all parts could finally be manufactured, and purchased , but the price tag will suddenly escalate dramatically.

If we go to the top of the financial pyramid, like billionaires, they may be able to afford quick replacements, where ‘quick’ may actually expand time longitudinally, as hart valves do nowadays, by the measures of years, stretched to centuries.

Dynasties will survive eternally, and individuals of trillion(s) dollar holdings can perpetuate this scheme.
Whatever cannot be manufactured, may be bought on the black market of human parts, and even now, people are warned of travel to Asia and other places, where a visit to a bar may mean unwary removal of a kidney, after coming to from an ingestion of a Mickey.

If not, harvesting could commence by silent lobotomies, and subsequent genetic growing by cloning.

Where the stronger, smarter , richer, may get to this point, where upon only trillion dollar fortunes may enable this surging quest toward eternal life, only those, whose insatiated thirst for more life becomes unstoppable.

Vampirism of kind where the ever stronger will feed upon those, whose life energy will web, without the lost organs.

Will these super humans acquire the stature of Gods, who simultaneously reduce the humane-ness of men, into creatures to support such an economy?

Is this at all conceivable?

Firstly if humans wish to achieve immortality they should realize the prime organ of importance - the brain - must be doubled in size, intellect, and capacity. But of course humans are too stupid to do so and desperately rapidly replace their failing organs like a mad dash contest of time and inevitability, pouring money into an Old Junker that is failing apart at the seams, comical in manner.

Telemorase, the prime cause of cancer, is the key to immortality. If the cancer can be stopped, telemerase is the key.

Secondly, if the DNA code remains static and unchanged throughout one’s life time, then by the book the organs should not age. Unless there is a spiritual and magical component to aging that cannot be discovered by conventional means.

Combined with Telemerase and the DNA machine, it should be possible for immortality to be achieved.

The brain need not be real, here, it could consist of a very sophisticated super duper computer, and the kind of immortality which could be bought may be possesses pf a cyborg, say Ultra 1 of a perpetually advancing series. These creatures may or may not possess characteristics as their originals, depending on preferential states . Knowing human preference for ideal types, they will after a time, resemble one another as ideal types, physically, and only vary in their ability to retain personal memory. Most of which would wish to retain as much as possible, to be able to have some measure of difference.

All kinds of capabilities would evolve from this, and a social reality could be maintained, as well.

The size of the computer-brain would not determine its capacity, since miniturazation would effect it’s function inversely.

The suggestion is that this kind of development was more likely then not, and not arguing whether it would absolutely happen or not.

jerkey,

Why don’t you address the possibility of already having access to immortality via your soul? Another possibility, you surrendered your memory with each lifetime to be able to endure eternal angst?

Must bad sci-fi be our meaningful end?

Mongoose,

Look at the current state of the soul, and I presume, like you, that there may be one. The soul, our soul is still ‘there’ , or, ‘here’ and I have as little doubt as you also may have. This is not a stab in the dark, ask any Jungian. However some have lost it. Some have sold it, sometimes for a pittance.

And this before any discussion may ensue of the very credibility of holding what is it? This has been endlessly discussed, and it would go beyond what the present quiery is about. Suffice with another aspect, the memory, which is coincidental to the soul.
The thing about the soul is the layered realities of markers which designate various epochs during one lifetime or many.

The one and the many has preoccupied men for time immemorial, and the naive, but real thing to notice about that, that the 1 time, can be layered almost into infinite slices of reality. St. James and others discussed this with other participants within a mathematical model, and need not to say, it was pretty exhausting, meaning complete. There the limits between one and it’'s many components remain
Limited but only conceptually, but it is that concept of the closure which sets the precedent.

History is such a model, we remember it, and past life, or before a closure of a present life is as much enigmatic as those which we call present.

The idea is, that it is strictly a conceptual trap that we make a distinction before the present and call it past, since there is not a scintilla of an actual boundary which could de-limit them. It is just a convenient way of thinking about them.

So when wii gods be born? They were born and are born and will be, and that pretty much sums it up, we are continually born .

Your suggestion to forget is significant, but it is only a negative dimension of the same thing, there are really only very thin arguments that speak of a boundary between the affirmation and the negation, in fact it is only a re-statement of the general need for a conceptual boundary between them.

Do they respond to the will, as if one could change the soul’s intent regarding which direction it should move?

It may be possible, by miniaturizing the already very narrow distances of time’s markers so much, that they would become imperceptible, markers would disappear, and time would become pure flow.

In this flow , we swim, not unlike in a river, and we recognize each other much more, if we swim in the same direction, preferably helped along by the river’s flow. Now swimming against the flow is another thing, much more tedious.

The gods of the river, almost whisper to the avid swimmer, who care to listen.

The difference between us is that I don’t presume, I know.

Even with an indirect “flowery approach”, science will never answer the questions experience does.

If permitted I think scientists could eventually Frankenstein a being. The being would have genes from plants and animals. A God? An immortal? Most likely just a long living very strong healthy genius.

This difference may not really differentiate the belief in the soul from not believing in it, once it’s discovered what the soul really is. As you view it, it is something mystical and vapid. Yet people like Jung thought it was a good idea.

Perhaps the idea of a multi-layered imminent concept of the self is not so different as a transcendent quality to human beings, depending on how the awareness of time is considered.

The mandala is a good example of very early art, whereby this vision can be attributed to more likeness in structuring human experience in a way that pertains to the concept.

If it does, and I believe it more probable then not, then the soul looses it’s outer limits, mystical quality, and elucidates a very possible vision of how time determines knowledge and belief in humanity.

Hi, Yerkey.

Why did you open this thread in the “SGE” subforum?

Yes that’s also possible, but why not to live an infinite duration? Maybe in unrecognizable forms.

Hi Arminius:

I opened here, because the death of Gods invites their birth, and this may be a probable scenario.

If your entry point is the commonly understood way of rational proof, then the idea of their invisibility becomes mute.

But man to these kinds of super beings may be like that of ants to men. There is a vast ocean of difference.

If there will ever be a reassertion of the Gods, it will have to develop along the line of increasing visibility, or self exposure on their terms.

It may become a concern to mankind, and they will happen along the lines of prophetic notions as described by futuristic thinking of describing visitors from outer space. I am going along with the notion that :They are really here, but we are unable as of yet to develop a new sense with which to see them.

Thank you for the information.

And the gods shall replace the trillionaires and billionaires?

The gods will not replace the trillionsires, the trillionsires will not either replace the Gods, the trillionaires will become the gods.

Look at a Trump. People are already messaging on s
ocial media, that the poor billionaire, feels thwarted in his effort to become Supreme Leader of the world.
He will not accept a Clinton win, and the fear is, that his followers will incite violence by disrupting the voting process in their favor.

Can this possibility occur? Sure it can, in America, anything can happen that’s conceivable. Or rather, anything conceivable will happen, given the right set of events.

Now this mentality can lead to a total eradication of democracy, as the Republicans envision it.

The fact may be, as is pointed out by some, that his loss will tear apart the fabric of society. And the private motivation?

A furthering of an already huge fortune, an express desire for total control of not only the US, but of the whole world. That is what appears to be his ingenious agenda.

Now some might think he is mad, for the desire for such, but Nixon warned of the coming of just such a man, and case at hand, is how he was able to fracture the Republican Party single handedly.

There are some who are beginning to fear a Clinton presidency, for Russian diplomats have suggested that her ascension means war with the Russian Federation, Iran, and Syria.

If some catastrophic event would foreshadow the election, then the supposed gods, may turn their anger to disrupt American politics, hence Trimp would cause more nasty surprises, and long shot as it is, capture his dream of becoming Commander in Chief and President.

They say, paranoia is based on a very deep seated insecurity, but it is absolutely relentless.

No , gods are still among us, but they are the coming anti gods.

jerkey wrote

To me the soul is not mystical and vapid (vapid, really?). It has dimensions, a placement within a human body, a job that it does, and a disposition or essence (facets) that transcends time. It also has memory, but without an emotional framework.

I think that it would occur when super geniuses are made. Those are the ones who would be capable of that discovery, if not then they could breed ultra super geniuses to solve it.

Yes, and if You believe in the flexibility and compressibility of time, then you will believe the super-super genius factor has already produced those kinds of Beings, in fact they have always been here, irrespective of time, since in their case, time has become an infinitely reversed process.

Time travel included, they are here, but on a level so totally far from ours, that it is inconceivable to attain the realization of their presence.

In fact, in this sense they have attained immortality, where our cognitive apparatus can only deduct, that they will always be around and have always been around.

The closest way to get out from under this paradoxical tautology, is to view them as transformers, rather than evolving things in time. They transform a qualitative differentiation from a quantification of variables, where , once the limits are proximally reached, the duration of differentiation lengthens, and time it's self bends the space around it, like Einstein predicted.

This process goes on until the absolute limit is reached, than crossed, and space time becomes unified, where the state of distinction is no longer calculable. The Nirvana, that the Eastern religions recognize, is achieved not by individual effort, namely the individually differentiated particles, hence not by the laws of change due to the closest difference
possible between them, but by change within the very particles themselves. The change is an absolute
effect of a massive effect by the simultaneous harmonic alignment of each particle acting as a group. A kind of magnetic shift, suddenly occurring, making an unavoidable alignment of all elements. The quality of the mass will change, in such a fashion, that an invisibility will occur on all levels. Invisibility in this sense does not necessarily restricted to the visual, perceptual, or even cognitive sense, but leaves nothing behind. It escapes into another reality, but still connected in some very remote and uncomprihensibke sense, which only they can fathom.

And yet they still must protect the events leading up to their being.

This all depends on several factors.

Namely, whether or not the SuperEnlightened are on spot, or delusional.

There are either 2 options -

  1. that a particle, movie, molecular, lego, spirit reality is all there is.
  2. Or there is a Non-reality (non-spirit, non-lego, non-movie) reality that is beyond comprehension.

If 1 is true, and fundamentally molecular, vision, taste, smell, star trek humanoids are the basic cores and there can be nothing else, then there are two options
a. highest genius-genius are demons and trolls, who communicate only to schizophrenics.
b. highest genius-genius are magnetic beings, only “sensed” by gurus.

If 2 is true, then 2 new posibbilities arise.

  1. The genius-genius is so incomprehensible that it cannot communicate with our minds, like how a human cannot communicate with an ant.
  2. The genius-genius is comprehensible, but there are 2 options.
…1. It cannot backward pinpoint travel into a backtime dimension of the multiverse
…2. Due to it’s higher aesthetics, it does not wish to commune into our realms (the hell realms.)

Trix,

Way to spin the positive =D> options. Now on the negative front… :-k :-$
