Bascially, it’s just a few philosophers talking about their ideas and whatnot. It’s a good watch. Features Peter Singer, Zizek, and a few others. Plus some guy called Cornel West who really seems like a cool guy. Which leads me to wonder…why aren’t modern thinkers in the public arena more often? Why aren’t they familiar faces?

thanks a million for the link Tengo - not half bad at all - some humour in here to - the fairly small amount of hits on it (so far anyhow!) possibly answers your question in itself

  • If (to simplify a little and bring up a stoopid binary!) the internet can be boiled down to fart jokes, gambling, big tits and social networking on one side and philosophy on the other - guess who’s going to win!

'Sides they’re all phenomenally ugly I reckon )

  • I liked Avital Ronell a lot - her book sounds like fun and something that would annoy Heidegger fans

Zizek’s dirt contribution was rather rocking and Judith Butler’s walk with a friend - nice stuff

Quote of the week Zizek picks up some torn pages with some soft lesbian shots, sniffs
