Fabric of Tongues

Enough
Enough
Enough

Linus, put that blanket down
the great, invisible Monster
the terrible, terrible Lizard
one of the darkest holes in Spacetime
the perfect, quantifiable Sugar
one of the brightest Dimensions
the absolutely laughable Musketman
uncouth Savage of my Dreams

kann I please take de piss
kould I inquire after a nightkap
mite I take yer koat
please, just hear me (sideways)
The terrifying, Godawful TRUTH:

That stainless steel framed hand mirrors once ruled this world.
the copper Periscope
the Fibonacci Coil
Koil of Koral
Karribiki
Und was wenn, wir unsr eigne Sprake vergessn,
upon leasing out space to a new tenan’?

I don’t understand the last three lines, but I like everything before. Perhaps I’m not meant to understand? The facade of language, the fabric of tongues?

There is a raw tension that creeps through this poem, something wishing to communicate, but running into the problem of breaking through language. I like it. Keep at it, keep playing.
