Faster than light ?

archives.cnn.com/2000/TECH/space … .light.ap/

Wait a minute,

How does cesium vapor create the light at the other end?

How is the light replicated faster than the speed of light? (how does the "information, received at one end, travel to the other end faster than the light?)

I do not believe.

well apparently the vapor accelerates the photons.

So it should be, “the speed of light is the speed limit of the universe, but light can go faster than it.” Okey dokey.

Also, how does one see something that is moving faster than light? How would one measure that, unless one’s measuring equipment is also faster than light?

Why aren’t these people finding something more useful to work on? There are so many more useful branches of science than this one.

because without warp drive, playing captain kirk isn’t as fun
