Federal reserve owning the United States government.

Riddle me this, what happens when a private corporation like the federal reserve owns 30% of United States treasury bonds and is expected in five years to own 100% of them eventually?

Does the federal reserve then become the new defacto United States government?

Could it do worse? Consider that its proprofit, it could do better by the people. Our present govt seems to be antiprofit.
( yea, I know Sil)

Seriously? Are you being pro federal reserve here?

Are you even aware of what the federal reserve has done to the American public and still is doing?

just as a friendly reminder,

money is not a requirement for life

your use of it gives it its power, and by extension the federal reserve and/or government

“Just a reminder”…
… just try to live in the USA without it. There are still a few small fading pockets where a few people can get away without paying a bank, taxes, or someone merely for a place to sleep (and it is illegal to sleep without express permission).

It is called “Cost/Price of Living” for a reason.

Its the idiots on the hill that has done it. The reserve follows what it is allowed to do. If a dog is not trained then it will be feral. The reserve wants profit just as a dog wants food. The reserve knows how to husband its prey, a dog does not. The idiots that we idiots elect are for their own and do not give a rats ass about anything but their own paycheck so they allow bleeding and butchering from their pet in order to fill their pockets. The reserve follows now, I think in the long run they would know that if we thrive, they thrive. Business heads make for better economic leaders then politicians. Politicians care only for power not profit.

Freedom is a extension of your economic position or status. Go sell that delusional smack elsewhere.

Who do you think controls congress and the senate? Who do you think controls the money purse strings of all the financial lobbyists that bribes senators and congressmen?

Look at years of past federal reserve administrators and all you see are ex financial managers from big banks like that of Goldman Sachs.

You have it all wrong. It’s the other way around entirely.

Who do you think funds presidential elections? State elections?

The federal reserve has been damnation on the American public ever since its inception and if it ever achieves full control of the United States government which it just about is close to doing you might as well prepare yourselves for international government run by corporate banking institutions.

i didn’t mean to suggest that living without money is easy (i haven’t tried)

but overcoming power isn’t usually something that is easy

if i had no place to sleep, and took a moral position to not use money because i believed it was perpetuating the problems pointed out by the OP, would YOU put me in prison?

i agree that freedom is an extension of economic status, to an extent

being able to create your currency would provide the most freedom. but that’s illegal. your use of a dollar pigeonholes you into a system that might not be your best option. the fed and treasury each get this privilege.

perhaps economics exists in forms that aren’t strictly paper currency or balance sheets

i’ll give you 3 bananas if you clean the insects off my back hair

dollars are a tool that allow one person to obtain (at least some of) the results of another’s labor. as long as its centrally controlled, benefits will be unequal

i’m not suggesting anyone break a law and counterfeit, but realize your use of a dollar, peso, pound, yen, etc… gives credibility to the injustices that it purchases at the highest levels. it says “i give value to this object that other people value but additionally use to exploit others”

its one of the deadliest weapons, second to perhaps only information and women

Ty, look at what I said and the comparisons. I did say allow. They have no vested interest right now.

I did it for 10 years and could have kept it up but I would have to have violated my own morals to do it. And I wouldn’t put you in prison, but then, it isn’t my country.
