Hey, has that thread set any records? Most views, most posts, longest time active, anything like that? I haven’t read a word of it - is the OP still being discussed?
I tried to read it but it seemed like it was written to appeal to disenfranchised youth. It’s more like he’s selling an idea than like he’s describing a reality. I dunno. Semantic nonsense aside, I’d give it a “C”. It’s more of an admittedly skewed social commentary than it is philosophy.
From what I’ve managed to gather, it has developed but is at least in the spirit of the OP and the developments are more of the same kind as opposed to a paradigm shift.
And I’m pretty sure it is the longest continuously running thread on ILP. I’m sure some thread-necromancers enabled some ancient thread we’ve all forgotten about to be the longest running thread on ILP.
