Hi, can someone point me towards in the direction of a reference to use for a essay on real fight clubs. I’ve found a few things, but I can’t seem to find anything “official” in the realm of its psychological aspect.

the third rule of fight club is : we don’t do your homework.
Just look up ‘underground boxing: a history of’ and you’re bound to find something useful. If not, just invent a fictional academic book, I’ve been inventing cultural theorists for years when writing essays and never once been found out. It’s the opposite of plagiarism.

That was not what he asked for. He asked for material concerning Fight Club so he could do his homework. There is a very big difference.
i don’t even want to go there kolibri. rather than asking google about fight club, he asks google about ilp and asks us ? that should be sufficient proof the kid is an idiot. BUT i didn’t want to insult him, and i wouldn;t have if bleedoing heart defenders of the lazy didn’t find themselves forced to intercede
Why waste more time than necessary. Google is a vast resource of useless knowledge, he could spend hours looing for meaningful resources about the psychological effect of fight clubs without getting any closer.
What is smarter to sift through oceans of resources or to go ask somebody who may know?
i would say it depends. on whether ITS HOMEWORK.
So if it is homework one cannot ask other people for help with finding material?
If you’re writing a paper on anything ‘fight club’-ish, you’re not in one, and aren’t likely to get any resources that are about /genuine/ fight clubs (since, if it /was/ genuine, you wouldn’t know about it) –
you’re only hope is going under-cover. Won’t find it on Google. Well. Won’t /know/ you’ve found it on Google.

I dont think you guys understand. We cannot give him any information on fight club, because we WILL be breaking the rules of fight club: Dont talk about fight club and dont talk about fight club!
