I could be making a case that it is a woman’s body, her right to choose paradox here, with a surrogate mother refusing abortion. I’m not going to do that.
I’m more concerned about the medical ethics of a doctor operating on a unwilling patient to abort a child. Even if court ordered, you have automatically violated a bunch of really important medical practices, and if a medical board doesn’t strip any such doctor immediately of their licence, and if a prosecutor doesn’t immediately arrest said doctor afterwards, I really wouldn’t see much of a point to having such things as Med Boards and Prosecutors in the first place, the imagined anarchy of some hypothetical primitive state would be preferable, for at least the otherwise healthy woman would have a fighting chance to NOT be operated upon.
Likewise, I think this is valid grounds for the patents to lose custody over the children, they’ve already proven themselves to be unfit parents, seeking to kill one of their children. When these triplets are born, I don’t think they are going to grow up to be very understanding of their parents desire to kill one of them off. Its absurd to think twins, already in a very close bond, are going to be too thrilled to find out dad forced a woman to kill their third, and it could of very easily been either if them, was a role of the dice either of them survived, it could of very easily been a separate twin staring at their sibling, living life, white they died on the operating table as dome woman laid on ty he operating table, screaming Oh God No, Don’t Kill It, Don’t do This To Me, Noooooooo!!!
