I’m getting ready to go to the land of the freezing cold. I got so many layers of so many things it’s not even funny. Wool, down, cotton, whatever that shit is they make those nike dry fit shirts out of, thick socks, 17 hats, 4 pair of gloves, thermal underwear, insulated boots the whole deal. I hate the cold, I hate the hot. I just want the whole world to be 72 degrees and sunny with a cool wind all the time. Why can’t I just have that one thing!!!???
I prefer the freezing cold to that sweltering heat we had in July. In the heat you can do nothing to stay cool, if you work outdoors, as I mostly do, in the evenings. When it’s cold at least you can run around and stay active.
This should be called, “a thread to talk about the weather”.
It’s raining now, quite heavily by the sound of it.
The cold is more expensive though. Give me the heat.
I’m in the UK also, and yep, winter has definitely arrived, but besides paying for gas, I love the weather at present. I’m looking outside now, bright blue skies, fluffy white clouds, dewy grass, the last of the autumn leaves hanging on here and there. So much more prettier than where I’ve spent my previous two winters!
It was pissing it down earlier but seems to have cleared up now. I can’t comment on fluffy clouds, but it’s not as bitterly cold as it was yesterday.
Indeed… heat is free in Summer, and very costly in Winter 
We are being spoiled with the current December we are having, but I doubt it will last, and I think Egypt got the snow meant for us

We got dumped on pretty hard in the past 3 weeks–enough snow for the whole season (but undoubtedly there’ll be more). Right now, it’s -6 C (what’s that in Fahrenheit?) which ain’t bad for my corner of the world. Christmas is going to be a gorgeous plus 5!
