Food Riots Day

perhaps
but it is more likely I will trap and eat them
20 years of practice
have allowed me to become an expert
in mountain survival
so let them come and try
by all means.
meat is protein
by any other name
and i have eight kids to feed.

Perhaps. Though if you don’t die in a food riot, you’ll just die by slipping on a banana peel or something anyway.

GOOOOOO Country!!!

But for the grace of God
go we

Nope right sperm, right egg and right place. No grace to it. roll of the dice ,cut of the cards and the wheel of fortune.

Tell that
to the family increase
crowding the American food line

Tell me Kris
to you know how many Americans still say grace
before meals?

there was a time
as America rose to greatness
that every soul thanked the Lord
for all our blessings
and found shame gambling
on lotteries

where did that early sense of grace go?
buried some would say
in silos
spiked with thousands of weapons
of mass destruction
and fat cats on Wall Street
rolling the dice with our pensions
and gambling on commodities
and food stocks
on super computers
at a billion automated transactions a second

but that is another story
isn’t it?

Then God’s grace obviously seems to be as unequally distributed as the food we eat, doesn’t it…?

All cultures change. So Gods grant power if one humbles themselves to worship that being? I would say that the people do the work and then like good little sheep give the credit to their God. This country is in its puberty and puberty is always hard. I trust and have faith that this melting pot of cultures will work out just fine if religion and politics stays out of the peoples way.

In essence man is a sedentary primate
Human culture is therefore not based on a natural work-ethic
the work-ethic is the result of thousands of generations of evolving a cultured primate
culture by definition
is based on religions of disciplined faith and belief
human culture will always be a superficial overlay
if we let go of religious discipline
the sedentary primate resurfaces
disciplined behavior practiced religiously
has to rest on a Belief in a God
not a belief in an ape

i disagree its based on survival instinct. Religion is just part of reward punish systems designed to control the aggressive nature of a territorial omnivoric species.

Wish I had such a simplistic world-view
as far as aggression goes
i would say fang and claw is the natural controller
not including an innate non-trespass instinct that all life bows to

As for punishment
God’s army
and conscious policing
are qualitatively different
to human armies and police forces
how on earth can you mix the two?

as to rewards
speak to corporate CEO’s and Wall Street
and the guy on minimum wages

You might enjoy this short talk, MM.

Thanks Anon
I surely did
you surprised me
