I checked and it is a mistake in the cipher. I won’t reveal the mistake in-thread though, lest it hint at the structure of the cipher. It’s unlikely to throw anyone off-track anyway.
There’s a mistake? There was one thing I thought I should have done differently, but it was a judgment call (if it is in the first number of the fourth line, then that is it, and I can change it if you prefer).
After you crack the code, there’s a solvable gooey filling – anyone solve it yet?
Hmm… If you solve my riddle, you’ll have an even better method.
Apologies to “D” and sirswedishmike. Do not waste your time on this – go play outside. Although, you could take it outside with you while you bask in the sun – great way to relax.
Please note I fixed the error pointed out by aporia. My riddle, I thought, was very simple, and no one has solved it. Why? It’s my first riddle, it can’t be that hard.
With the hope that this will motivate more to take a crack at it… here is “the rest†of RBI (regular, bold, italic)… I’ll have to think of something else to give the person who solves the riddle…
Unfortunately, not a single soul has shown that they have solved the first (and only) riddle, and you choose to answer my question by saying I have phrased it incorrectly (I assume)… If it helps, I understand that the former object is a ‘transiting’ one while the latter may not be… and the … how shall I say without ruining the fun for others?.. um… “way of observation” of the former is a very roundabout, indirect one… nothing is directly observed. If that clears it up, then… well… please answer the question, as it is a genuine one and you apparently know something about this (unless you were just on a fishing expedition and solved nothing).
As to your signature – I hope you are referring to a necklace, and that “f***ing” is the word “feeling” or some such word that would describe one technique of putting on a necklace. Take it easy.
The riddle in the original post, in plain English… if you solve it, I have this book “Philosophy and the Emotions” – a collection of essays edited by Hazymosis or some weird name like that. I could not get into it, and if I ever develop the vocabulary to go with it, maybe I’ll buy it again. PM me your p.o. box with the answer to this riddle and it’s yours.
