He absolutely refused to help Libya out after demanding, proding the US to bomb Qaddafi despite Obama’s hesitation… no French peace keepers, but plenty of oil went to France out of Bengazi… now that a unity government has been established, uniting the two Parliaments (pro and anti qaddafi tribes)… France has rushed in troops, in fucking opposition to Parliament.
I am impressed with this shit. Yes, ISIS exists there, but I think the Parliament would of been just as open to France operating as a ally with it as this warlord. This Warlord just happens to control the oil supply. While it us always legitimate to go after ISIS and states that harbour it, countries really should openly ask and pressure the official states first if they don’t have a diplomatically hostile history (US wouldn’t ask Iran permission to bomb a ISIS camp within Iran (however bizarre such a call would be, but we would ask if it was a country we had somewhat orthodox, normal relations with, like say Cambodia or Angola)
Honestly… is France even backing this new government? Is Bengazi going to become a French protectorate? A autonomous zone somehow gaining a French or even a bizarre NATO base?

It has benefited from the exchange of ideas that modern media (books, radio, newspapers, tv, internet) just as much as the ideals of democracy and capitalism, found a very willing audience since the latter 19th century. Would of done so even had a virus broken out killing white people everywhere 100 years ago… has it’s own internal reasoning and momentum, does not rely on a outside force to cause its behavior or reason for being… it is smart enough to exploit propaganda, but would of been attacking for any provacation, real or imagined, eventually. They have nothing to forgive or forget with regards to France. They simply want you dead or converted. Was that way long before your or my grandfather was born, will be that way long after we are dead and you’ve presumed peace should of kicked in.
