And I’m a bad boy cause I dont even miss her
I’m a bad boy for breakin her heart
And I’m free,
Free fallin’!
Yeah I’m free
Free fallin’!
All the vampires walkin through the valley
Move west down Ventura Boulevard
And all the bad boys are standing in the shadows
And the good girls are home with broken hearts
And I’m free,
Free fallin’!
Yeah I’m free
Free fallin’!
Free fallin, now I’m free fallin, now I’m
Free fallin, now I’m free fallin, now I’m
I wanna glide down over Mulholland
I wanna write her name in the sky
Gonna free fall out into nothin
Gonna leave this world for a while
And I’m free,
Free fallin’!
Yeah I’m free
Free fallin’!
Well I think it can be answered on a number of levels so you’ll have to be more specific on what level you’re most concerned with.
Are we talking about the physical free fall – the exhilaration of bungy jumping or parachuting for instance, and the feeling of being free from gravity’s pressure and weight?
Are we talking about the emotional free fall – ending an emotional tug of war in our head between our desires and fears (of the repercussions) and open to anything and everything?
Are we talking about the social free fall – breaking away from the expectations of others and the role we’ve adopted?
Are we talking about existential free fall – the collapse of beliefs and values (hopefully, to reform afresh from a more personal and realistic basis)
Are we talking about a spiritual free fall where the ego (separate identity) dissolves into something larger?
What do you mean exactly? Is it any of these, all of them, or something different? A bit of a description or an example would be helpful
KM, all of them…
But speak from your own perspective, don’t try to guess my own role in it.
I understand why my free fall is so liberating.
I want to know why others think their free fall is liberating.
Or even if it is liberating at all.
Why do some feel it is liberating and others feel it is impending death?
Are both perspectives right or both wrong?
