i need to know is friendship is merely a unity of purpose as i had earlier asserted in my life,or is it anything else? cuz sometimes though you may want to be friends with someone, the two just dont connect somehow.
how could you make friends with anything other than unity of purpose?
Hi Drift. This ‘connection’ idea is of great interest to me. Every great relationship I have ever had has been marked by it. With these relationships, I am always able to define them in words, list the commonalities, put forth tangible reasons as to why the relationship exists. And yet…there is always something more, something indefinable, some quality that makes the connection, something that makes the relationship a great relationship.
This ‘something more’ is tough to pin down. It’s an emotional thing, not an intellectual one. ‘Wanting’ it won’t make it happen. It just happens.
