Hey I wrote the beginning of a story, called Club Ugly in the creative writing section, that I was going to continue, but decided on something else. I think that it would be fun for all of us to continue the story one post at a time. That way the story will be a group effort and will have an unpredictable evolution. You can write as much or as little as you like but try to make the events correspond to what was written before.
Anyone interested?
Another idea is that we can each have our own character and tell the story from their perspective.
I’ll be up for it, but tomorrow, and tomorrow and tomorrow,
Life creeps in this petty pace from day to day
To the last syllable of recorded time
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to Dusty death. Out out, brief candle.
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
Who struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more.
It is a tale, told by an idiot,
Signifying nothing.
(I once co-directed Macbeth, and I played Macbeth when my English class studied the play)

A long time ago I had a show on the radio. On Friday nights I would have an “all request call-in” event. However, if no one called in I would start to play terrible songs until they did. Perhaps, I will have to do that again unless I get submissions for the Club Ugly story! My avatar of death will haunt you!
