Funny phlosophical puns

Confucius was a master of puns. And rhyming.

Evidently, that is what constituted logic in Ancient China.

I’m not kidding. Later on, they moved onto an inference based system, but that is hardly an improvement!

Despite that, what are your favorite philosophical puns?

Personally, I like to talk about “your average Zhou”. “Your average Joe” is an idiom for everyman, anybody. Zhou, on the other hand, is an ancient Chinese dynasty. One that figures like Confucius, Mencius, and even that sack-of-shit Mozi would mention. If you pronounce “Zhou” with a horrific Yankee accent, and oh-boy do I ever, “Zhou” sounds very much like “Joe”.

I think this is funny. What do you think is funny?

“That’s punny” is a pretty common won.

Also my dad could never resist making the stupidest puns whenever he ate crab.
