I renounced my throne (gaming PC) so no longer a king, but it doesn’t mean I can’t get another gaming PC at some point…
More interested in the indie games than the full-fat offerings, there is so much imaginative content coming out.
Maybe I will buy that new gaming PC, if I can get the cash together.
I use to do Xbox consoles but in all honestly PC gaming is more cost effective instead of buying a new console every five to six years.
Been PC gaming off and on since the beginning of the internet. Makes me feel old saying that.

Me too. I don’t game much anymore, but when I do I go on binges, looking for the newest cool stuff and just trying it out. If something really interesting comes along, I can get hopelessly lost in it sometimes. That’s just the nature of gaming, lol.
I have a wee desktop PC that can be used for light gaming, and can be upgraded with a proper GPU, but it’s badly designed, the power supply is inside a small case and it heats the whole thing up, it screams like a banshee when you do anything that makes it hot.
Would love to build a new PC, but funds and all that, next windfall, if there ever is one, I’ll build a PC. Until then, it’s older PC games only, but there are many that are still pretty cool to play.
Many of the console games you can just play on PC via internet connection. It’s becoming a point where standard game consoles are becoming an expensive waste of money.

I am pleased with my PS4 though, and I know for a fact it can be turned into a proper computer when Sony decide to dump it. It will always be a cool computer to have, and it looks great under the telly, really inconspicuous. I would advise anyone, if they have a PS4 in proper working order, to retain that console, later you will be glad you did.
They are also very stackable.
But otherwise, it’s just more fun to play certain games on the PC, first person shooters are one example, on a PC you can whip around 180 using the mouse, on a console this process is clumsy to say the least.
Go for it dude, 100% PC gamer… ![]()
With PC games that play Playstation and Xbox games you can just rig a Playstation or Xbox controller into a computer port setup.

I do that too, I have a turtle beach recon wired controller for the PC, it’s brilliant for certain games, that’s xbox style, I used to dislike the left stick being swapped with directional buttons, but now I’m used to it I kinda like it, that particular controller is comfy and responsive, have had it for years.
