Georgia Encouraged by Montenegro's joining NATO

Georgia was a major contributor to Iraq, along with Ukraine and Georgia… under Obama, we’ve more or less turned our backs on our allies, who had NATO aspirations.

The republic of Georgia more or less represent the farthest extent NATO can reasonably be expected to project itself into Southwest Asia. Its obviously going to be a while before the can join, but it looks as if Russia might be snapping here soon in it’s Syrian commitments, and its juggling debt and sanctions, may give Georgia and even Ukraine the chance here in the upcomming decade or two to join.

Russia wont always be able to maintain its occupation, but Ukraine and Georgia will always remember Russia’s “rough wooing”, trying to keep them in its sphere by force of violence. In a future administration, once wide cuts have ti be made during a recession… especially if green technology catches on and oil loses its value, you can fully expect the pullout to be made on a financial basis. Can Russia afford to forever occupy its neighbors, pushing them towards a hostile alliance, sympathetic to their freedoms?
