Giordano Bruno vs. Paracelsus

Hello everyone,

I’m currently a sophomore in college with a major in Philosophy, and for my Philosophy of Science class I have to write a 10 page paper on whatever topic I would like so long as it discusses the influence on science.

Something that interests me greatly is hermetic philosophy and alchemy. For my topic, I am debating between writing a paper on Giordano Bruno or a paper on Paracelsus. Giordano Bruno’s work has always interested me but Paracelsus seems to have more of a history that I feel I could write a successful paper on.

My main question is who you think would be better suited for a paper topic?

Please keep in mind that this topic needs to also discuss the person’s contributions to science.

Thanks!
