Glad that's over

Summer, I mean. Wasn’t it just stifling?

How is everyone?

It’s still hot here.

It was quite warm today here as well, but not like the gross heat and humidity of July.

Honestly, I loved it.

I’m actually sad it’s over, especially in the knowledge of what is to come for the next several months.
The people complaining about it annoyed me - I was grateful every day. Clearly I just need to go live in a hotter country…

I don’t like the heat, saps all my energy.

I like to stay in the heat, and then when it gets cold, plan some vacations in places that are still hot so that I can extend the summer a bit, then when it’s finally cold everywhere down here, I like to go someplace where it’s really cold and snowy so that I can at least play in the snow if I’m gonna be freezing.

I mostly prefer the winter, though not so much when it’s raining. Snow is a lot nicer.

Some places have desert at the bottom of a mountain that has snow on top of it.

Not any mountains I’ve ever been to though.

But some of them. You gotta have lots of layers.

I’m sure, yes.

I prefer mountains to be cold at both the bottom and top.

Without the hotness at the bottom, how can you tell it’s cold at the top?

When I get goose pimples.

Could be herpes.

Speak for yourselves.

It is almost the beginning of the winter season for rural Minnesota residents.

I can almost feel the snow getting ready to be blown up my ass.

I’m usually happy to see summer go. I’d always rather be cold than hot, and summer is just TOO damn hot.

I may be heading back up north for the winter, though. That part won’t be so great, if it comes to it.

Same here Maia, so glad that crazy heat wave is over… I like mild days, not hot or cold but mild
