It is backwards the word did not become the word, it became the flesh. Look around You, what has the word come to? In spite of the word?

Gnostism did not predate Christianity, before that it was of many separate beliefs, including Zoroester, and other beliefs. Both Christianity, and Gnosticism came into their present form around two thousand years ago. The point is that one did not serve the other.

Faith v/s Reason

Faith is a way for you to quit using your “God given” power of Reason and Logic, so you will believe doctrines that moral men reject as immoral.

The God of the OT says…“Come now, and let us reason together,” [Isaiah 1:18]

How can you reason with God when you throw away reason?
