Can theists agree that god is love?
Can atheists agree that the concept of god is about love?

Is there any hope for agreement?

Some theist can agree that god is about love. However some theist can disagree with it, because some theist might want their god to be the most powerful being in the existence. Therefore must PWN every other.

And IMO, the concept of god is not about love at all, but rather a ignorance and denial, so no agreement from me, an atheist I guess.

  2. is it romantic love, sisterly love, motherly love etc. ?

  3. is he/she/it (the thing called god) simply a feeling ?

  4. is it just something you like ?

  6. what exactly is love ?

  7. how do I know what you think love is, is the same of what another one thnks ?

  8. how many other similar questions are answered in the bible ?

Nice one, thirst. But you’ll get no straight answers that won’t be shot to pieces. We create our own vision according to our need to understand. A god of love? I want to believe that, but there are those who need a god of vengeance.

I posted in another thread that an intimate relationship with that which is is just being alive. That’s loving isn’t it?

Why do you suppose that God’s wrath and love are not the same thing? Isn’t it possible that they’re identical?

I don’t remember who it was but someone said that God is the name for that which is impossible to graps with the intellect.
Love, I guess, falls under this definition. So does hate, by the way.
