god my imaginary friend is

a permanent emoticon
plastered sloppily
into the back of my skull
god my imaginary friend is
an enigmatic man
whose kindness
seeks no end

he is the second man in my life
to ever make me produce tears
only second to my father
a man of strife…
but god came to me
when i started to ask “why?”
and he has clung to me
as voiceless as ever
religion is man’s greatest invention, i suppose.
For it is the only one that eats the brain.

thank you.

some strong prose here
right to the meat!

‘a permanent emoticon
plastered sloppily
into the back of my skull’

‘he is the second man in my life’

‘religion is man’s greatest invention, i suppose.
For it is the only one that eats the brain.’

Those lines caught me. =D>
