God 's power and the "heavy stone"

God 's power and the “heavy stone”
==…
The old paradox:
Can God make a stone so heavy that He can’t lift it?
My opinion.
a)
Why does God need to create such stone?
Is He a stupid One? No, He isn’t stupid.
He took another solution.
Instead such “heavy stone” He decided to create billions and billions
“small” Galaxies with many – many planets with reasonable people
( even if some of them would ask the question above).
b)
God can create the Universe only using physical-math laws.
And as a wise One He limited all physical-math parameters
in the Universe. These limitations show the God’s power.
But a foolish doesn’t know the God’s laws of limitations and
ask the question above.
c)
The concrete physical-math answer to the question about
the “heavy stone” God gave as " the Chandrasekhar limit":
" Chandrasekhar calculated that a cold star of more than about
one and a half times the mass of the sun, would not be able
to support itself against its own gravity. This mass is now
known as the Chandrasekhar limit."
/ page 38/
“However, when he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1983,
it was, at least in part, for his early work on the limiting mass
of cold stars.” /page39/

=.
Once again: the limits of all physical laws and parameters show
the God’s wisdom and Human’s stupidity.

==,

Perhaps so. Considering the ways in which we silly humans worship and adore, give way to illusions and beliefs about this god which may not have any bases in reality, maybe it was to keep Itself humble.

Isn’t it a bit foolish assuming this? If this god is so omnipotent and omnicient, why would that have to be the case? If this god is above our feeble minds and knowing, how can we be so sure of this?
Of course, I may be wrong.

An infinite being could lift an infinite stone, so no. The paradox is that an omnipotent being should be able to make such a stone, but it relies on finite properties.

As a metaphor; Would God want a universe which stretches beyond his range? That is more than he can control?
Well if the desire of divinity is freedom, then where control is a retraction of that, then divinity must create that which is out of its range and control.

I think that there is something about our reality [gods aside] which must move beyond limits, or beyond itself generally. otherwise there would always be something left remaining. this is why the fates work beyond that of the gods.

No, God could not make a stone so heavy that He could no lift it, in my opinion. The created is always something less than the creator.

Yes, if God is all powerful, then he would have the ability to alter his nature, make himself not all-powerful — abnegate his omnipotence.

Doesn’t need to a permanent thing either; he could temporarily relinquish his power, set a divine timer for how long he will be limited in power.

Do you think about that all yourself or are you borrowing a brain from someone else?

Oh, I’m not so sure of that. There may be a great number of artists, poets, scientists, et cetera, who, at some point, after they have created something - have come to intuit or experience their creation or discovery as being larger than life and larger than their very selves.
Don’t know if I would call that humility or arrogance - probably would depend on the individual.

Of course, I don’t mean to make God into OUR image and likeness. If there IS a God and ONE who/which is above, beyond, below Everything there is according to our perceptions, reality can only be what is in the Mind and the nature of such a thing.

Something can become what it wasn’t, but it can never be what it isn’t.

God is defined to be on top. Thus God cannot be less than that and remain God. If God created a stone too heavy for God to lift, he wouldn’t be God any more.

The actual question being asked not the trivial logistical conundrum, but instead;
Can God lift up the Church/Stone? Or has it become too heavy/bulky?

\

Any answer to that question, James, from my point of view, could only be according to one’s own projection or perspective.
And that answer can periodically change considering what experience an individual is flowing through in the moment.
There is really no way we can logically answer that question.
Subjectively truthfully - yes, depending on “where” and “who” we are in the moment.
We are all in a sense Rivers of God - and at the same time we are all diviners of God. We only find the waters depending on the waters within us.

Ummm…

“Can the Church be saved or not?”

How can we know the answer to that? Only time will tell.

For me, a better question would be - Ought the church be saved?

God is not a metaphorical construction of human minds.
To create the Universe God was needed Physical laws and formulas.
In my opinion God created the Universe by this plan:
The God’s Code of Nature.
=.
§ 1. Vacuum: T= 0K, E= ∞ , p = 0, t =∞ .
§ 2. Particles: C/D= pi=3,14, R/N=k, E/M=c^2, h=0, c=0, i^2=-1.
§ 3. Photon: h=E/t, h=kb, h=1, c=1.
§ 4. Electron: h*=h/2pi, c>1, E=hf , e^2=ach .
§ 5. Gravity, Star formation: h*f = kTlogW : He II – > He I – > H – > . . .
§ 6. Proton: (p).
§ 7. The evolution of interaction between Photon / Electron and Proton:
a) electromagnetic,
b) nuclear,
c) biological.
§ 8. The Physical Laws:
a) Law of Conservation and Transformation Energy/ Mass,
b) Pauli Exclusion Law,
c) Heisenberg Uncertainty Law.
§ 9. Brain: Dualism of Consciousness.
§ 10. Test and Practice: Parapsychology. Meditation.

God is a Great code–maker.
But, as every code, God’s code also can be cracked with the right key.
In my opinion the right key has two formulas.
The one is - T = - 273, 15. . . .
The second is – c/d= 3,14 . . . .
Using this key somebody, after strict analysis, can discover
who God is,
where God is
and how the God create the Existence.

God = 0.jpg

God must begin his creation in some reference frame and must use
some quantum particles which have some geometrical form.
a) For the basis of RF I took the zero vacuum T=0K.
b) According to the laws of thermodynamics the particles in T=0K
must have geometrical form of circle: c/d = 3,14 . . . . (pi)
c) According to QT the circle-particles have two (2) kind of own,
inner impulses: h and h*=h/2pi.
These impulses changed the pure zero vacuum continuum.
=…
Today scientists ignore T=0K as a RF of the Universe as a whole.
Today scientists don’t know the geometrical form of quantum particles.
Tomorrow the situation will be another.

God is deist.jpg

Quantum mechanics is certainly imposing. But an inner voice tells me
that this is not yet the real thing. The theory says a lot, but does not
bring us any closer to the secrets of the Old One.
I, at any rate, am convinced that He is not playing at dice.
— Albert Einstein

… to which one quantum phycisist replied ‘oh but he does, he just throws them where you can’t see them.’

Now even supposing we discover a grand unified theory, that theory itself would be without explanation, hence ‘why does God issue just these laws and not others.’

I think these problems can be avoided if we stop trying to anthropomorphize nature and thinking of ‘god’ in terms of an intelligent, transcendent creator.

If we think of ‘god’ as immanent, we need not wonder at an explanation for this. Nature would be just what it is, and we would add nothing to nature by calling it ‘god’.

Einstein was a Spinozist who believed in absolute determinsim, but he didn’t want to accept the implications of Spinoza’s theory, which posits that there is no such thing as good and evil. This might be why he refused to let go of the notion of a benevolent god.

Like Kant, I believe Einstein was telling a noble lie.

Why does God to create the Universe use just these laws and not others?
Because God as an intelligent, transcendent creator used
the simplest laws for His work.

An another scenario.
For a God so-called " a stone so heavy he couldn’t lift" was only
so-called “singular point” and then it was so-called “big bang”
Isn’t this a nice scenario?

Can God make a crack rock so big that he can’t smoke it?
