Was watching a bunch of video talks with Leonard Susskind’s name and voice on them. They seemed like very convincing imitations. However, it finally dawned on me that they’re all AI generated. Now I don’t know if I was misinformed or not?
Would Susskind agree with the information being communicated in his name? Not being a physicist, I can’t tell. But it makes me so angry what our society is. AI is nothing more than an easy way to generate ad revenue on YouTube. And it doesn’t seem to matter if the content is accurate or not.
I realize that everyone needs money in order to live and that there are many people in this world who need to find ways of generating money, but creating fraud is just not the right way to go.

Totally. AI should not be used for this at all. I’ve fallen into this trap as well, and it’s infuriating, I’m getting sick of being bullshitted by AI online. There are too many lazy money grubbers using it for this purpose.
Youtube should have very clear labelling under a video if it includes AI content. Sometimes you can find out by expanding the description, but it appears to be optional whether to disclose that info.

Anything that incentivizes murder for profit is bad, including capitalism and probably every other economic or political system out there. These systems always end up being run by evil people. It would be nice if we could figure out a way to prevent that from happening.
