God's Will

God’s will is the only thing that ever happens. Everything we do is God’s will. God made us to make mistakes. God made us with mistakes. Mistakes are of God. Mistakes are what God is all about. Let God have the mistakes and God will fix them. Give the mistakes to God. Trade the ways of thinking that don’t work for ways of thinking that do work. God is the super conscious mind and this is the same as the super unconscious mind and this is the same as the Buddha mind. God can cause miracles. Pray for understanding. God wants us beyond death and disease. God wants us prosperous. God wants our lives to work. (Taken from “The Winning Side School of Awakening”)

Is it a mistake not to do so?

Not to sound immodest, but that’s exactly what I’ve done. It’s what happens when you put Truth first.

So freewill is non existant?

If that’s the case, why are they called mistakes to begin with?

We can’t change because it is God’s will.

Then why go through all this? What’s the point if God knows everything that’s going to happen? Why not just put us straight into heaven or hell with all the memories of what God willed us to do? And wouldn’t all the people in Hell just say, “Hey, God, you willed us to be here, so we couldn’t change anything? Why punish us for what you made us do?”

It’s absurd.

Ive thought a lot about this and I can only determine:

There would be no point to life unless we lived it, regardless of the outcome.

I know my daughters next move before she makes it as well. I tell her to do her homework but I know she will do it wrong or misplace it. However, instead of skipping right over to lecturing her, I give her the chance to ‘surprise’ me.

Of course, God, as an infinite mind, cannot be surprised and on that note the Christian philosophy gets muddy.

If we are to believe God knows all, and can change all, we have a problem when it comes to surprising him. I think we need to consider him as a guide who has the power to create and destroy, with the ability to Will things into motion. However, He allows us to go about our lives.
