I would love to see the US go up in flames on the one hand, for all its hypocrisy this would be cleansing like a good scratch of an annoying itch, so purifying, but I have friends there too.

Yes,this is why Trump is the better option - he does not pretend, in any way, to be better than he is.
Clintons entire being is to pretend to be better than she is - very tiring to watch, let alone to be.
But my views have shifted somewhat from having a bit of hope for this cycle with the possibility of Trump, to expecting increasing chaos for 4 years and then a constructive turning point. As I am not an American, it does not fundamentally matter to me if the US still exists as leading power by then.
Well, I expect thew turning point to come halfway the term after the coming one. I dont see the US existing in its current form after two more terms. A chance for something better will come about, in the case that a nuclear war is avoided.
