"A lot of people are saying that Canada has become a safe haven for terrorists. Do you believe that?
Yes…I think many countries look upon Canada as being a welcoming country for terrorists, war criminals and so on. I don’t think it is a deliberate policy on the part of Canada. I think it is the result of a series of shortcomings in the system that enables people to slip across the border through any port of entry, establish a case – particularly those who wish to make a refugee claim – and then more or less disappear forever…"
Politician: Nuke Canada. Turn it into a toxic nuclear wasteground.
Any country so inept and corrupt to allow such terrorist plots
obviously has to pay the price of its ineptness.
I mean how can any country be so incompetent
to allow people to commits those acts of terrorism is beyond me.
Someone needs to teach those lazy, communistic bastards
in the great north, that we don’t accept such ineptness.
Reporter: “The canadians broke this plot without any wiretapping
of its citizens and there was no acts of terrorism. Your comments”
Politician: Support the troops, anybody who disagrees
with me is obviously unAmerican. Remember 9/11.
K: When in doubt, Just mention 9/11. It doesn’t matter what the question
was, mention 9/11.
Thanks for the links Imp! Human Rights Groups are generally idiots who do not realize they are protecting individuals who are bent on destroying any human rights.
It is on numerous media sources.
Imp, you will love Eurabia and Londinstan materials.
Chuckle, remember the mods are watching, and this is to Imp.
I meant the illegal wiretap of citizens.
It seems obvious the Canadians obeyed
the Canadian law in this matter regarding the use
of the wiretap. I don’t mind the use of a wiretap
if it follows the law and gets judicial consent as
required by the law. In the past, we broke the
mob’s power through the use of LEGAL wiretaps,
and convicted them via taped conversations and
that is not a problem. It is a problem when we
willy-nilly decide to illegally wiretap everybody on
the assumption everyone is guilty, which by the way,
was the SOVIET UNION method. Everyone was guilty until
proven innocent.
I must admit, I am old school when I think of wiretapping and
I still think of land line based phones. When I wrote wiretap,
I didn’t even think about computer wiretapping… I just meant
phone wiretapping. We are all a victim of our age and I don’t mean
2006, I mean our physical age. As technology improves, I will still
be (mentally) into what I am used to. I live very close to
silicon valley and I still have no idea what a blackberry or a
bluetooth is. Its hell to get old.
Can’t we just buy Canada? I mean, how much could they want for it? The Brits own it, don’t they? We should at least make an offer on Nova Scotia. It’s pretty up there.
We practically own it now. I mean, we close a few car factories, ban U. S. teams from the NHL, stop buying fish and lumber from them, and prohibit movie companies from filming in Vancouver, and their economy is trashed, anyway. We could even sell Quebec City to Disney, relocate New Orleans to Montreal, and deport all the French Canadians to Labrador, which we could make a Semi-Autonomous Tundra.
That and a fortified wall between us and Mexico, and all our problems would be solved.
Hey Imp show me the link between those teenagers and Al-Qaeda or the east in general.
That’s right, there isn’t one. This isn’t international terrorism… it’s homegrown. You don’t see us sitting around clenching our fists because of Columbine.
That’s the problem with ‘Terrorism’ in the Bush defined sense… it’s any act of violence. It’s anyything… whatever they want it to be.
The US isn’t going to invade, at least not for a while… they just need Canada’s support for Iran. And with Harper… they’ll get it.
faust: Can’t we just buy Canada? I mean, how much could they want for it? The Brits own it, don’t they? We should at least make an offer on Nova Scotia. It’s pretty up there. We practically own it now."
K: yep. that is the point. We practically own it now, so why should
we buy it from ourselves? Oh, Canada. Our unofficial 51st state.
You guys aren’t paying attention. Canada has enough tar sands to be a major energy producer for a loooong time. They’ll do quite nicely without us ‘buying’ them. We couldn’t afford them. Remember, we’re going to be paying for a few wars into the indeterminate future…
Now if China makes them an offer they might give that some consideration…
Well apparently one of my history professors was wrong, the White House was named in 1798, however, we did (that is we Canadians) burned it down, reconstruction was completed in 1830.
The myth was that the White House was painted white in order to cover the smoke damage.
Generally, agreed regarding the electronic monitoring, except I have no problem with the president, or any other government security person checking-what I might be up to if it prevent another 9/11. That is, I do not care as this is a time of war, so go ahead listen. And no, this is not Big Brother beginning. Such measures are common in a time of war.
What is hilarious, corporations already know so much regarding us through our credit or debit card use.
LOL, I am not the type to violate the law, and have never been in trouble with the law. I will probably never need any human rights group.
Also, I do not care if a poster agrees or disagrees with me. This is a discussion board, and not a life or death matter to me or you.
Yes, I still maintain that they defend those who would subjegate us to their Sharia Laws. Wake-up sunshine, and realize who these groups often defend. They would have the Gitmo detainees released if they could. Nice huh. We release them, and they will attack us and our troops.
Read CAIR and antiCAIR for some insight. BTW, antiCAIR won the lawsuit CAIR instigated against them. BRAVO Andrew.
