My son and I were outside working when he asked me what time it was.
I knew knew what time it was because, our neighbor had drove past not 10 minutes before.
Habits are good but, habits are bad. Interesting how the differences work.
Criminals use time and habits to accomplish their acts. Society leaders use this same method also.
So why when we know having these timely habits can cause us problems do we not change them.
How are habits broken and why does the average person not see these things
I found it interesting enough to start thinking about how a criminal and a society leader uses their knowledge of habits to gain. Do they actually understand what it is that they are doing or is it instinct for some to think as pure predator. For knowing habits is what a predator uses to catch their prey.
I find it laughably easy to comprehend and know how to follow this and how to accomplish actions but, I choose not to do so. Ethics or morals I am not sure.
Soooo, you’re a predator with a heart? Even though I understand discerning habits, (theirs and mine) I’m not quite sure where you are going with this. ???
It is mundane babble, a mundane observation a wierd little thought, No I am not a predator but, then again are not humans hunter of sorts? Like prime time TV. Or daytime TV or morning TV there are specific target audiences. Is that not a predatory type of outlook the TV. stations have?
Interesting coberst-style thread, KW. My hunch is that yes, bigger-brained predators probably do have a capacity to pick up on habits or periodic behaviour of potential prey. For example, a cat might notice that a group of birds always fly along a certain line towards a tree, and accordingly wait their one day.
You are right they do remember such things as that. The African plains is a prime example large predatory animals following migratory habits of prey. where ever prey creates paths or habitual movement the predator will note and follow or wait. Humans do this to each other Our politicians, religous and businesses rely on habits of humans to be successful. So does the criminal I observe this as a predatory action. and an interesting one. so what can human prey do to not be prey.
A mule emoticon… I don’t know, but I think I like the brick wall better. Neither one moves without ‘encouragement’, but the wall seems a safer mode. There isn’t anything that preys on brick walls is there? Although I have heard of praying walls… On the other hand, brick walls are rather predictable, while with praying walls no one ever knows the outcome, unless they are into numerology and the davinci code. hmmm, there is that predictability thing again.
Maybe a mule is best since they can be so damned unpredictable. Of course there are some good things about predictability, so maybe the wall is better… Gee, I can’t decide. What do you think?
I am putting my foot in a potential swampy morass that I may never climb out of but I like the unpredictable mule, you never know what is going to occur and you don’t get a chance to prepare. That is an adventure. So I like mules. Besides a graduating mule emoticon can fit so many folks and their posts. Wouldn’t you agree?
We all have habits, good and bad, I know I do things without thinking but, I try to be careful of the habits that can cause problems, well except for smoking. People are controlled by their habits and can be controlled by others because of habits. Are we more habitual now then ever before or just lazy.
So why don’t you list the people who fit the mule emoticon? Now there is an adventure! And yes, you just stepped in it, and no, I’m not about to publically agree to anything about mules or their human counterparts.

I will bravely list myself first on the graduating mule list if you volunteer to follow a close 2cnd, Bessy a third, then Faust 4th, Mas is too dignified but fits the 5th position Dan is definately a subtle 6th, then I will put forth a list. You do realize though I may encounter a number of over qualified volunteers for the list of graduating mules if they can figure it out. Which is highly probable considering the calliber of graduating mule intellect here. LA is truly the undercover graduating mule so we will keep her place quiet for now.

Many have tried to ‘fix’ Tab, but all have failed. We’ll just have to accept him as he is. Something about being ‘hardwired’ or something else. But he is definitely of mule quality. One of the founders I believe.
