Has anyone ever read

“The Destruction of Black Civilization,” by Chancellor Williams. I had a long conversation last night with a man at a bar and the subject revolved around race relations between blacks and whites in America. He is black, and I am white. He suggested I read this book and I have every intention to do so because it coincides with a very deep desire of mine to shed some light upon the difficulties that are all too prevelent between the cultural structures that exist without, at least in my mind, a very good reason in the U.S.A. and elsewhere. It’s too traditionally ingrained to be rational.

I was wondering, if any of you had read it, what you thought about it, and possibly in a couple of weeks, after I have found the book and read at least some of it, if any one would be willing to have some sort of discussion on it’s subject.

Personally, I wouldn’t waste the time. Ethnocentricity is all an effect of the ego game, and summarily puerile.

What would be most effective, is if people learned to leave that tripe at home, in a box in the closet, and face facts: a human being is a human being.
