Hate and Love

Hate is free, but Love costs.

Agree?
Disagree?

Hate…

A form of emotional disease, and a sort of madness, which is a periodic-spastic, and is also a progressive disease, getting worse as time goes by. Very distructive, and contagious, traveling through air, sound, or kenetic contact.

Love…

When the body says yes. It first must be conscious – of the result – and character of instance. Then, it must evaluate the future of them together… Finally, it must choose – how much they two of them need each other.

Can you not love the thing you hate and hate what you love or the love of? Does not love when betrayed become hate? and hate when soothed by tragedy or kindness become love deeper than it alone could ever have been?

All living things use energy for cause and affect, so yes, both will cost you energy as both have affect to some degree.

BTW, Love is an Entity not an emotion or idea, a side affect of love would be emotional energy, but not the source.

Organics are, or at least start as, loveforms.

They started as an exchange, a sexual pleasure, and a sort of affection.

Later, loveforms mutate… so very much…

One is an emotion and one is not. Both cost one way or another.

Hate is not the opposite of love.

Please go to the pyschology forum and check out the two threads; On the definition of Love by Gwyllgi and what is Love by Bessy. They will flesh out what I mean.

Think of all the damage that is done by people hating each other. Afterwards, how much work has to be done to undo that damage? Hate certainly costs a lot for everybody. I wouldn’t call it free. Out of love, people can do wonderful things that are of benefit to everyone. So nobody ends up paying a heavy penalty because of a loving deed.
Perhaps the person who entered the topic doesn’t have much love in their life. But they can try to help other people and act out of love. I’m sure that in the long term, loving deeds would save that person much of the price they’d have to pay if they were hateful.

If love includes a strong desire for and hate includes a strong repulsion against, could not there be a cost to both, considering that one could just as easily lose one’s self in either process if one was not careful of behaving addictively?
