For some reason, people who start this kind of “hello” thread would never post again. It’s a strange phenomenon that I’ve noticed in other discussion boards as well. Can anyone think of an explanation?

It’s a bad sign if, after reading many of the different threads, they can’t think of anything better to say or contribute than Hello.
