If you like custom (and if you like THE customs). But some people do not like custom, in general, others do not like many, most, the core, some customs of the Culture they are in. This can be temperment, this can stem from insight. But clearly some can move away from custom and feel psychologically more healthy. I don’t Think there is a universal here.
That sounds right to me. A healthy belief is, accordingly, better than a true belief that isn’t healthy, in virtue of health being a higher value or concept than truth.
One ought to be an atheist because it is healthy, regardless of the truth of its claims, because health is a higher value than truth. (if one thinks that atheism is healthy, which Nietzsche clearly does). Ya?
It is healthy to hate truth, ancient Greeks and Nietzsche if most of your countrymen have names like Schmitt, Müller, Schumacher, Bäcker, Taylor, Fischer, Kaufmann, …
Nietzsche, Nietzsche, I hear people about him but I can’t say I know the man. I know his face.
It is on the internet, I had no trouble finding it.
But why is the Nietzsche man so important for health? I eat good meat, biological cows and many carrots and roots and hardly any milk. I also drink plenty of water. I also eat hardly any bread because bread is not very nice except in a club sandwich. I eat club sandwich sometimes when I make them myself. I also heard that eating one of those swines you see the Gauls eat in Asterix, is really nasty because it’s blubbery meat. Is Nietzsche a vegan? Or is he an omnivore? What is the philosophy of diet in his books?
It’s customary to consider healthy recipes yes, but, there is no getting away from the fact that
nothing beats taking your girl to a french, german, or other continental place to eat. Let’s be honest, if you want to impress your girl about your appreciation of hauteur cuisine, would you take her to a Chinese buffet, or to continental place, where chateau wines rather then japanese cherry wines are served?
