hello everyone i know this might not be something i should ask of anyone but i am taking a philosophy class and for extra credit i need to write a report on Hippocrates, and i need this really bad. if anyone just likes to write or has any ideas and or knows anything about Hippocrates would you please help me out… asap… thanks
Read the rules. We are allways glad to tallk philosophy, but we are not permitted to help people out with last minute homework. I suggest you search the board for past threads that may help you find the info you need. 
Hippocrates can hardly be classed as a philosopher anyway
really, everyone knows that hippocrates were boxes for big african animals…

not me. I thought that it might have been a sect of people who were known for preaching one thing, but yet doing something else, themselves.

I have seen the word hypocrisy rendered every conceivable way, but my favorite one was hippocracy - which, to anyone who knows a few of the Greek roots of English, means a political constitution in which the government is run by horses. 
and is precisely what hipocrisy comes from. pretending the state is not run by horses.
