Henri Bergson

Yellow - strawman - argument, no wonder it was trans posed to function like an eye, an identity of a functional displacement from dialectical (materialism) to searching for an answer as to who he is or thins so.

You’re tying the scare crow to Marxism? I need to watch that movie again. Lol.

I should’ve probably just gone to bed when I said I was gonna go to bed in the last thread. However, I’m kinda curious why Dorothy starts off wanting to run away from that mean old lady on the bike who wants her dog (who turns into the witch who wants her sister’s ruby red slippers back)… gets sucked up by a tornado (just knocked out by the window)… and ends up learning “there’s no place like home“…Even though all the other characters already have what they want? Does what the other characters want change between waking and dreaming? Because what she wants changes between waking and dreaming …or …didn’t she change her mind (& want to go home) based on what the charlatan (who became the wizard behind the curtain) told her? It kinda reminds me of the beauty and the beast where Belle wants to leave “that provincial life” until she meets the beast and then she wants to go home until she realizes he’s awesome (or something). So I guess it doesn’t remind me of beauty and the beast. Except for the human-becoming-animal thing. How ironic that she’s trying to find Auntie Em (etc) at home while awake, but she never left home in reality, so she does already have what she wants (to go home)—but…”her brain”…wants her to learn something more before she knows she already has it. What it took for her to wake up to home was given to her at the beginning of the dream, but actually while still awake — how the charlatan tricked her & how Auntie Em defended her against bike witch. Those shoes were that defense she only needed to remember to do the trick—click. Plus the journey made her agree with those grateful words (“There’s no place like home.” … she’s wakes up to friends she considers smart, brave, and … beautifully caring.) So I kind of feel like I need to watch the movie again. How does she realize she can click her heels? The same person representing Auntie Em at the beginning gives her the shoes (defense), and at the end tells her how to use them (remember). Oh one more similarity between this movie and the beauty and the beast. And Pinocchio. And the Prestige. And The Jerk. Never trust a circus magician. Don’t go off with the circus. You will never find your special purpose there. lol :joy:

Oh and PS the synchronicity between the Wizard of Oz and the Darkside of the Moon is undeniable, unlike the Mandela effect. Js!

Good night. (x2)

(Auntie Em gives the bike witch Toto instead of calling her names. Toto comes back. The witches in the movie are like the tornado/wind… meant to make her want to go/appreciate home. So… turn the other cheek etc etc?)
