Here in 'The South'...

…what they call enlightenment is just a bubble. Suffice to say, the only truth you’ll ever have to accept here is perfectly natural. :sunglasses:

What type of enlightenment do you speak of?

That question is pretty superfluous. But if you must have an answer, I’d say anything other than Nietzsche. And although here what they call enlightenment is just a bubble, in the US it’s morbid.

PS. OP amended.

By the way, I should probably let you know you’re on ignore. But on this matter I was interested in your opinion.

It’s like, you’re all either running around talking about how stupid Nietzsche was or seething with hatred and praying for the second coming- because that’s what you’ve gotta do. And the question is, why? Of course, the weirdo who made it that way isn’t going to be telling you the truth any time soon…

EDIT: In fact, I’m gonna give this it’s own thread.

Superflous? Is this not a forum where one can ask for clarification without expecting sound-bite bias? You have explained nothing of why Nietzsce is your guardian saint, how the enlightenment is a bubble or how it’s morbid (strange choice of words) in the U.S. Methinks you want agreement, not rigor. That’s an ego problem, mon amie. And even if you desire agreement, which I often do, you need at least to explain your premises without considering those who can’t immediately comprehend them as wrong or stupid!
