Laws of Nature ¿&/or? Descriptors of Being

In the world of necessity (descriptors of being) and contingency (or possibility) (in alignment with descriptors of being)… …where do laws of nature fit? Is there a taxonomy of the descriptors of regularity? For example at the top you might have some sort of theory unifying all the lower levels.
