I don’t know. He hasn’t made any serious mistakes so far as Secretary of State, and don’t think Secretary if State would be the first guy to turn to for internal assassinations. If he was doing external assassinations, spiying, bribering, blackmailing, etc, as long as he can show it was within the US best interests and not merely the Democratic Party, he will be held as Machiavellian, but not necessarily bad or illegal under US, laws, might even positively work for him.
If it shows he himself was bribed, or has a fetish for orgies of hookers internationally without even the hint if a background check on them, and talked openly about everything top secret, was covering up press bungles by making legitimate reporters dissapear, and said to Obama in a email “Hey, I got some great assassins from Mexico who take out targets for me, they can take care of these political issues our party is having within the US by assassinating Americans”, then he us fucking toast. He will defect to another country ASAP in return for state secrets disclosures.
I’m doubting it is the latter, but in history this sometimes does unexpectedly happen. I’m gonna keep my eye out for any stories that might indicate he was leaking info for possible double agents, it is within his powers to use duplicity and play both sides, as long as the US ultimately has it’s interests served. The Department of State spies just as the CIA does, it can look bad initially, but we aren’t usually told the whole story of how our spy networks worked till several decades later, and even then, I don’t know.
He hasn’t had a emotional meltdown like Hillary did with Qaddafi, hasn’t crumbled in the face of bad international schisms. He seems hamstrung by Obama, who uses some bizzaro logic to justify his policies I’ve never quite figured out, so don’t fault Kerry for being stumped and dissapoinred at times either. Kerry doesn’t appear to be a genius or natural at thus, but I respect not being a complete fuckup as Secretary of State. It is a office too easy to fuck up in tense international circumstances. He isn’t a steak dinner, more like a bologne sandwich… but that is way, way better than being a shit sandwich like Hillary is. Big old dookie on your plate with her. You say to her “No, I said cookie, I wanted a cookie” and she smile and says eat your dookie, it is good for you.
But perhaps he did something wrong, outside the secret squirrel shit his office has to do by default. If Obama ordered him to negotiate the bribe we paid with Iran, then that is Obama’s fault. He isn’t completely free in his actions, he has to follow Obama’s desire, offer solutions Obama wants to accept (still should offer the more reasonable stuff first) etc. In the end if the day, Obama wants it does, it is being done that way. Most he can do at times is make it less brutal or fucked up, by tweaking it, searching for alternatives before the deadline to act hits.
I’ve seen little reason to hate Kerry. He has a solid chance to run for president. I see no reason to vote for him, but you won’t see me nearly as moved to go against him as Hillary. He didn’t massively fuck up like she did. Shirt of him being a corrupt prince of internal violence within our borders, funding embassies through selling drugs on the international market, I’m not expecting something earth shattering- I am more worried that wikileaks has more Arab Spring like info that we’ve collected, him discussing deficiencies of states, and watching a new pointless wave of international violence erupt.
If that happens, I say send in a special forces group into that Embassy, and just kill Arrange already. We don’t need more countries imploring into civil war to serve Assange’s ego. If it is just Dirk on Kerry, doing something unimaginable, send in the swat to nab him. I hope it is neither.
