Historical Doubt: Everyone is a Conspiracy Theorist

This is just for fun.

There is no ‘official’ account of history, but given the more-or-less mainstream version of history, where do you personally place your doubts? In other words, instead of me saying, “Here is this conspiracy theory, do you agree with me?” I am simply wondering, in your opinion, where does the official version of history not add up? Where do you think it’s been changed?

If anyone thinks there have been no instances of (egregious) deviation from the events as they objectively transpired, then I would especially like to hear from you.

History is not the malicious and intentional re-writing of the facts of the past - well not all the time.
Bogus history is more likely to be the rejection of inconvenient facts the the selection of points of view that tend to tell (construct) a story that best pleases.
Thus the great “founding Father” author of a nation and its constitution; Jackson was a rabble rouser who wanted to avoid pay any tax, and found it acceptable that his own children remained in slavery. People are not interested in the fact that he serial raped his ‘little black slaves’, and never acknowledged as his children the issue that swelled the ranks of his human stable. People prefer to see him as a hero.

When I treated any and all events as historical (“The Use and Abuse of History”, Adrian Collins translation.), what Roger Waters wrote, “Time is linear; memory’s a stranger; history is for fools…” made “Perfect Sense”.

Correct. It’s those ‘not this time’ that I am looking for.

Correct. That’s sort of the point here: to look at history carefully.

Often times with amusement, where there is smoke, there is a fire.

One of the first conspiracies I ever looked at involved the calendar, and time.

I imagine Einstein once asked for ‘fries with that’, but nonetheless the words in the statement itself stands. So with that said what are you on about trying to find out what real-ly happened as if real-ity was real rather than an illusion?

Anyway, let me think of instances where I doubt the mainstream version of history… well in the exact same places I doubt the non mainstream versions; all of them. But, then I don’t doubt them, as if I could second guess something I never first guessed, I just realize the ephemeral nature that history must have to me, when it so hard to even solidify a single conscept in present time.
